Little guy targets GenTel over phone book format
More than 1,000 customers in Venice Englewood and North Port sent coupons objecting to General Telephone's decision to split last year’s directories into four. PSC Chairman Joseph Cresse said the move is wrong and a docket will open to investigate all Florida phone books with a Tallahassee hearing set for Sept. 8 and a final decision within 60 days.

Swat team fights mosquitoes at Caspersen Beach estuary
