Escapees captured after area manhunt in Florida
Two escaped Gadsden County inmates and two juvenile girls were taken into custody by the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office after a multi hour search. Dixon and a 14 year old girl were arrested Monday night, McGriff and a 16 year old girl Tuesday morning. The men face grand theft auto charges and await transport back to Gadsden County. The girls were turned over to the Division of Youth Services. In Osprey, they used a stolen state truck to buy gas before being stopped.
