Silver-Haired Legislature Ballots Decide Sarasota Race

Voters over 60 in Sarasota County approved key races in the Florida Silver-Haired Legislature. Col Paul A Marsch of Venice led District 25 Senate with 982 votes to 81 for William Straad and 299 for Dr Samuel Watson. In District 73 House Harry Johnson of Nokomis won with 992, Walter Kenrady 183, Stanley Houseman 181. Maurice Ulmer and Robert Brake were unopposed in Districts 74 and 75.
