Venice Fire Dept builds portable Air Cascade Mobile Unit
Captain Dick Morrison led volunteers to build a mobile air pressurizing unit for the Venice Fire Department. The unit delivers up to 1000 cubic feet of air at 2000 psi, powers four large air bottles, and can pressurize smoke masks and scuba tanks. It will respond to two alarm fires and toxic gas incidents, reducing reliance on external air supplies.
