Crash victims recover after Englewood road collision
In the March 22 two car head on crash on Englewood Road north of Englewood Florida, one woman died. Beverly Smith of Grove City and Charles Marchuck of Englewood were hospitalized with multiple injuries. Agnes Wasieleski died at the scene. The Smith vehicle carried five passengers. Cecil Smith remains in a Venice hospital in a body cast after a broken back and nerve damage. Christopher and Michael Smith, ages 10 and 5, were treated and released. John O Rourke, 14, also released after serious injuries. Frank Church, 10, survived with minor injuries. Mrs. Smith praised O Rourke for saving the children. The couple and Marcella Marchuck are recovering at home.
