Senior Friendship Centers offer weekly activities in Venice area
Older residents in South Sarasota County are invited to join at the Friendship Centers in Venice. Regular schedules include coffee at 9:30 a.m., bridge classes, dance exercise, lunch at noon, and duplicate bridge at 1 p.m. Activities also occur at Emmanuel Lutheran Church and St. Mark's Church with crafts, sewing, French lessons, and tax help before April 15. The centers close on Good Friday April 17.
