Multiple attempted burglaries reported around Venice
Venice police logged several attempted break ins at construction sites north of Venice Hospital and at the La Casa site on Old Albee Road with no thefts. A burglar at the Venice Recreation Center damaged machines and an inner office but left money untouched. DUI incidents led to charges against Bruce Kotarski James Tincher Rose Richter and Marion Sykes. A Venice man Walter Duffy was charged after a Business 41 collision. A boat cabin tape deck was stolen at Sorrento Shores. A pick up crash on Duncan Road caused a power cut. a driver was charged with DUI. No injuries reported.
