County road and bridge taxes extended for 1894
On motion the county clerk extended collectors hooks in Lawrence county for 1894 to raise funds for road and bridge purposes. Rates include Alton 100, Russell 40 cents, Denison 1650, Lawrence town 1 cent, Ben town 1 cent. Baltimore and Ohio Southwestern lines run to Springield.
