Rovai Fremont Vanatta of Fairfield county born September 3 1882 moved to Lawrence county in 1864 with parents and lived there until death He joined the United Brethren church in 1880 and married Sarah Piper in 1890 Five children survived his death he sought deeper religious experience in 1898 and served faithfully until his death February 22 1900 The funeral was at the United Brethren church in Samper with Rev Brandenbare delivering the discourse Interment at Samper cemetery Also includes an advertisement for Kings New Life Pills at Dale and Sheridan's drug store
