Fayette County D H I A reports for November list herd averages and individual cow records. Notable herd leaders include Sheldon B Fox 664 and Russel W Pagel 535, with many farms and cows ranging from the mid 400s to low 700s Milk yields and fc/percent figures appear for numerous members such as Clear View Farm, Decker families, Pagel, Leech, and Ingels among others. A dairy facilities workshop will be led by Vernon Meyer of Iowa State University Extension, Wendell Ryder, and James Jensen in Postville at the REC Building on Jan 23 and in Strawberry Point at City Hall on Jan 24.
