Frank Fay and Mat Cannon went to West Union Friday. Mr Richards called at Mr Rundle’s Sunday. Gus Peck bought a bay horse in Oelwein Thursday. George Frost and family had New Year’s dinner at Mr Fuller’s. J L Worden and wife from Sumner visited Mr Rundle’s Sunday. Charles Ettlin and wife of Oelwein visited New Year’s at Joe Everett’s. Mrs C S Paine and children visited Rob Watts recently. A genuine Old Santa Claus was seen near Christmas Eve. Ask Mat about him.
