Charley Webster of Waucoma visited Boston last week. The Waverly condensed milk factory offered $1.00 for 4 per cent milk during February. Francis Schwabe returned home from Fayette after studying commercial subjects last week.
Prof Ed Ufford of Vermilion visited the Wade home last Thursday. Vern Eggleston, teaching at Littleton, was at home Saturday and Sunday. Mrs George Pennett, an early Tripoli settler, died January 28 and was buried in Waverly. Dr Gross will visit Sumner later this month and will notify through these columns.

Ten bids opened for a Cedar River bridge on Bremer Avenue in Waverly. Toledo Bridge Co. won the $15,990 steel work contract, with the county handling abutments and all woodwork.
