Bremer County Sheriff's department reports two break ins last week. The Klinger garage was entered through a rear window, with about 500 dollars worth of tires tools spark plugs and ignition parts stolen. A Frederika north cabin was also broken into Friday, with duck decoys hip boots waders snow shoes hunting gear and a bow plus two box traps taken from the seven Waterloo residents who own the cabin.
Mr and Mrs G E Farnum hosted overnight guests and Christmas Day meals with numerous relatives from Fairbank Maquoketa Cedar Falls Randalia and Waterloo plus trips to Ikeba Japan and Fredericksburg. Extended family visits included many siblings nieces nephews and in laws gathering across Iowa and beyond during the holiday period.
