Farm Bureau Women honored at Iowa convention
Three county Farm Bureau women’s groups were honored at the women’s business meeting on December 6 during the Iowa Farm Bureau convention in Des Moines for their work with the Iowa Farm Bureau women’s National and International Friendship Fund. Tama County led with 203.40 dollars, Jasper 181.80, and Bremer 174.69, contributing over 4,300 dollars total. The fund supported ACWW programs, with Pennies for Friendship and Save the Light, and two delegates attended the ACWW Triennial Conference in Nairobi, Kenya, in October.
