Local notes report a proposed fifty thousand dollar opera house for Oelwein with plans for a brick building measuring about forty by ninety feet and thirty five feet high. Various residents are mentioned visiting, teaching, or relocating, including Miss Hisitie Eggleson in Banks Center and Chas Beal moving to Oelwein to start a new laundry.
Charley Congdon and his grandmother visited relatives in MeIntire until June. Miss Amy Carroll of Westgate attended the dance Thursday night returning home Friday. Businessmen have windows lettered by two strangers. Kidney cure claims and salves are advertised by Farrand Bros and M Robish & Co. A picnic by the Bremer Con. M. W.
