Voice From Verdun Pipe Installed In Victory Organ

The Verdun cathedral relic pipe now installed in the Victory Organ at the local Christian church was dedicated during Sunday services. Rev. John McD. Horne, a Red Cross chaplain, preserved the pipe from the Verdun ruin and helped fund the organ with thrift stamp sales aided by Carnegie Corporation support. An original poem The Voice from Verdun was recited by Joe Reed with Miss Tressa Wolfe playing the organ and offering the French national anthem.
