Former resident Overholser suffers stroke in Oklahoma City
Henry Overholser a former prominent local dry goods and hotel builder from the city suffered a paralysis stroke last Saturday in Oklahoma City. Banana Plant Rare in Farmersburg Yard
Mrs. Della Moore of Rail Road Street hotel houses a banana plant mailed from Boston two years ago. It stands about 10 feet tall with leaves up to 56 inches long and carries clusters of fruit stock and a banana like bloom. The dry summer delayed bloom and fruit, but the plant has grown beyond anything seen locally.
