Mrs Nannie Davis Dies After Dropsy Attack
Mrs Nannie Davis wife of Rev W T Davis of Patoka died Thursday evening from dropsy. The remains were brought to Sullivan Sunday and interment was at Center Ridge. Six Patoka Eastern Star lodge ladies served as pallbearers. Rev W H Grim led services at Center Ridge. Mrs Davis sister is Mrs Wesley Hughes of this city and Miss Margaret Lee of Peoria Ill attended the funeral.

Boy Injured in Train Accident at Star City
The nine-year-old son of Ezra Dodd, Hymera, was run over by a train at Star City today. Doctors Plew and Asbury amputated below the knee after injuries sustained while the boy was jumping on and off the moving cars at the scene.
