Traction Car Derailed and Fire Spark in City Lines
A south bound traction car derailed at the freight station on North Court street when its rear wheels left the rails at the switch frog. The wreck blocked the track until early Monday morning. WANT ONE THOUSAND DAMAGE Lumber Company of this city filed a suit in the circuit court yesterday asking $1,000 damages against the c. T. H. & S. BERy Company. During January a truck owned by the company and driven by Austin Stanbaugh was struck by a train here, and the plaintiffs allege the truck was damaged to the amount of $1,000. Austin Stanbaugh, the driver, has filed a suit against the railroad company asking $25,000 damages for personal injuries.
