Robinson Argus of Porterville reports four years ago he dug a one acre pond six feet deep at its center. He bought 100 pounds of buffalo and catfish but most died. Last fall he used a seine and caught 125 pounds of buffalo ranging from four to 124 pounds, with many left in the pond.
