Death of Mrs Violet Martin in Sullivan
Mrs Violet Martin widow of William Martin died Monday morning at her son Ezra Martins home in north Section street. She was 78, born in Washington county, lived most of her life in Sullivan and leaves three sons Douglas Ezra and W L Martin of this city one daughter Mrs Zimri Payne of Curry township five sisters and two brothers. The funeral was held Tuesday morning at the Christian church with Rev George W Titus officiating and interment at Liberty cemetery.
