Frick Shot in Pittsburgh Office by Russian Youth
Chairman H C Frick of the Carnegie company was shot three times in his office by a young Russian man who was arrested. The assailant, about 21, five feet six, has been in the United States six years. Crowds flooded the Carnegie offices as doctors treated Frick amid fears for his life. One bullet passed through Frick, two remain, dynamite cartridges were found in the would be killer’s mouth.
