Vincennes dispatch reports Leonard Seckinger files a $10,000 damages suit in Knox circuit court seeking damages for alienation of his wife against W. A. Taylor. Seckinger, a Carlisle resident, runs a lunch room in the Speake building after leaving work at the Chicago Carlisle Coal Company mine.
Harry Banther a city peddler wed Della Smith in Terre Haute on Saturday in a simple marriage ceremony local reports say.
Mrs. William H. Orr aged 75 sustained injuries to her right shoulder in a Saturday night fall on an icy yard. She slipped while walking to her son Will G. Orr's home. bones in the shoulder were broken. Dr Lisman attended and she is progressing as well as could be expected.
An examination will be held in this city on Saturday February 24 for applicants seeking the Graysville postmaster position. The office paid 181 last fiscal year. Information and application blanks may be secured from the Graysville postmaster or from the U S civil service commission Washington DC.
Rachel F. McCammon widow of William A. McCammon died at her home near the Providence church south of Paxton Sunday morning at ten o clock of pneumonia. She was 73 years 9 months and 11 days old and a native of Haddon Township. She leaves six children five survive L L A McCammon Indianapolis Mrs Rush Trimble near Carlisle J J McCammon Paxton Mrs Ernest Horstman Vincennes and Mrs Joseph Hume Carlisle. Funeral Tuesday at 11 a m at Providence church with interment Snyder cemetery.

Kenneth W Self a Jackson township native who moved from Illinois in 1869 to Decatur county taught school until 1885 then farmed died Saturday night at his son W J Self's home in Jackson township at age 93. He was born December 21 1823 in Montgomery county Kentucky and moved to this state as an infant. He taught early while farming and served as a trustee of the Sugar Grove Presbyterian church where his funeral was held. He left 80 acres then 20 more in Jackson township and is survived by several children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Arcenith Bedwell aged 49 died Thursday morning at her Pleasantville home after an extended illness from cerebral hemorrhage. She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs James Spencer of Pleasantville. The funeral was at the M. E. Church in Pleasantville on Saturday morning with burial in Pleasantville Cemetery.
