County Board of Charities Reports Infirmary Short on Help
Three members of the County Board of Charities visited the infirmary hospital and jail on December 7 reporting staffing shortages and only fair cleanliness at the infirmary. The hospital under Miss Kathleen McCarty shows 14 patients and 10 nurses with 157 operations and 4 births in two months. the jail had only 11 inmates in the last quarter.
