James Leonard, son of grocer J H Leonard of the city, was arrested in Terre Haute on Friday by Marshal Willis and brought to Sullivan. He faces charges of stealing harness from E G Carrithers Robin Taylor A V Penny of Sullivan and Thomas Griggs of Robinson. A set stolen from Carrithers was recovered and Leonard’s bond attempt was thwarted as authorities pursue more evidence.
