Sullivan town debate on city government and officials
A letter argues John S Bays misleads voters about city incorporation. It claims if Sullivan becomes a city current town officers may stay on as city officers. Bays says city government costs nothing due to no extra officials except the city attorney. The writer also requests an explanation from the town attorney about a blanket railroad franchise for Southern Indiana to cross Washington street.
