Sullivan to Raise Two Flag Poles in Court House Park
Arrangements are under way for an oak pole about one hundred feet tall to be erected in court house park. John Alsman secured the pole and Ezra Martin is splicing and shaping it. A large flag will be bought by public subscription with the date to be announced. The Elks lodge has purchased a large flag and will raise a fifty foot steel pole at the lodge yard with a meeting to mark the event to be announced.
