French Soldier Relates Paris Tour and War Service
Sergeant Paul D. French writes from General Headquarters AEF about a five day Paris and Tours trip with the Captain. He describes travel, an opera at Paris Grand Opera, Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, and museums, plus notes on meals, prices, and Pershing and the Prince of Wales. He mentions plans to switch clarinets, the Boehm system, and hopes for home leave around spring.
