Valued Policy Law cuts fires in New Hampshire

The Valued Policy Law passed by the New Hampshire Legislature reduced fires by 60 percent by requiring the policy sum insured as the only evidence of value and barring removal suits to Federal courts for outside insurers. With withdrawals by outside companies, local firms filled the gap, and fires dropped to less than half former levels. Also includes advertisements for Gilmore's Aromatic wines and Alabastine finishing products.
