Automobile Clubs Plan Drive to Aid Senator Brady

Blackfoot Idaho clubs from Blackfoot Idaho Falls and Pocatello met at the courthouse with about one hundred boosters to discuss reopening Yellowstone Park roads to motorists. Theodore Turner chaired the group. a seven member committee drafted general road rules and extended an invitation to Washington officials with a 50 machine escort pledged.

Man Injured After Rooftop Fall While Painting

Mr. Herrin fell from a ladder on Tuesday evening while painting his house roof. He sustained severe injuries to his spine but is reported to be getting along as well as could be expected.

Maybell Smith an 18 year old Lehi resident and fiancée of Hart was found dead after a self inflicted act this morning. Authorities say she killed herself after a troubled courtship and planned wedding in two weeks. An inquest returned a verdict of death by her own hand with no other cause found.

Miller robs by highwaymen in Glenwood Park

In Ogden July 14 Frank Miller talked with two men in Glenwood Park who brandished revolvers and extorted $17.20 from him after leading him to a large fish story. The two suspects, described as tall and short, fled toward Wall Street were suspected to be from Salt Lake City and rode a train out of town.

Elephant chases auto on Idaho road to Salt Lake

A. H. Ensign and family report an escaped Idaho circus elephant charged their auto on an unfenced road near Downey. The chase lasted about a mile before the animal tired and stopped. keeper later captured it. Joe Iams, later editor of the Shelley Pioneer, was seen in Rexburg.
