Mrs Whitman Hurt In Carriage Accident On East Third Street
Mrs F B Whitman sustained severe scalp lacerations and head injuries in a runaway carriage on East Third Street near Sixth Avenue. Her companion Mrs Ella Brown escaped unharmed as the horse frightened by a streetcar lurched the buggy causing Whitman to be thrown against a wire pole. She was treated by a physician and returned home. Brown remained seated in the buggy.

Mrs Caroline Johnson Dies at Home at Fifty Five
Mrs Caroline Johnson widow of Tate Carl Johnson and aunt of John Rosengren died at her Morrison area home. She was about 55 and funeral is set for Tuesday at her late home with Rev E Lee Fleck officiating. Burial in Riverside cemetery beside her husband and a son. Born in Sweden she came to this country in 1868 and lived near Sterling before moving to Morrison. Survived by seven children eight total including six daughters and one son.

Fifty Witnesses Summonsed for Coleta Accident Probe
The grand jury in Morrison will hear testimony next Monday regarding the Coleta accident. States Attorney Waite leads the inquiry with additional witnesses and new testimony from the coroner's inquest. Fifty summonses were issued to locals to appear and testify before the jury. Deputy Sheriff Wahl will serve the subpoenas in Coleta. Mr Waite will be assisted by Attorney Eaton with funds raised by Conaway family friends to cover Eaton’s fees.

G A R Post Plans Move and Sessions At City Hall
