Father M Foley of Dixon filed suit in Lee county circuit court through attorney John Irwin against Sterling Dixon and Eastern Electric Railway seeking 5000 damages. Motorman Vinton allegedly assaulted him on the 8 o'clock interurban car after Foley refused to move from the vestibule. Six witnesses reported the incident and Foley claimed skin was peeled from his right hand. General Manager Higgins declined comment.

They will go to Galesburg for changes then return to finish setting grade stakes. The survey shows the branch will connect with Fulton Savanna four miles south of Savanna. about five miles of stakes set north-west and all stakes to be completed before snow.
