The Bishop's Candlesticks featured Herman Walck as the Bishop and Sanford Mitchell as the convict. The Neighbors and Sauce For the Goslings were lively comedies, well acted by the student cast. Directors were Lucilie Burr Barbara Flinn and Arden Daehler with advisers Elizabeth Joiner and Donna Burritt praised for their guidance.

Seniors Visit Chicago After Joint Inspection
A group of seniors toured Chicago after inspecting joint planes, visiting Chinatown and Won Kow's Restaurant for dinner around 6 p.m. Bud Terhune bought Chinese goods by 9 p.m. and the group motored to tour the lit city before departing on the train, arriving in Sterling at 12:56 a.m. Supervisor Bill Krohn struggled to keep lights on during the return trip.
