It details a magazine room, lounge, study areas, wet carrels with taps, dry carrels for independent study, and a 25,000 book expansion. A brief note invites Valentine wishes to be printed for five cents per word in room 126.
Ground broken August 28, 1975 for a new library doubling seating to 275 chairs and doubling shelves to 45,000 book spaces. Floor area triples from 5,000 to 15,000 square feet and capacity grows from 500 to 2,000 students. The project thanks voters for their support.
