In a Board of Education meeting a visiting economist Dr. Heinrich Applebaum outlines a plan to raise funds from local residents. He suggests spending now to satisfy needs, expanding facilities, upgrading equipment, and hiring consultants to justify increased taxation.
The Franklin Grove FHA will hold officer elections for Section 2B on Monday February 19 with Charlene Hay as acting vice president. On Tuesday February 20 the club meets with a pot luck supper at 6 30 in Home Economics rooms and fathers of members are invited as guests.
The Script invites baby photos from students to match each photo to a future teacher. The top three correct guesses win prizes. Submit by February 28 to Mrs Haney or Terri Dunavan. photos will be returned after the paper prints.

Moms and daughters attended a February 13 event in the Fieldhouse starting at 7 30 pm. Participants warm up with exercises led by Cathy Kontos and her mother before playing aerial darts volleyball basketball table tennis shuffleboard cage ball and more. Sophomores performed a skit followed by refreshments with six weeks of future activities listed.
