On Monday January 18 the FFA held a meeting in the Ag Room of SHS to determine winners in a public speaking contest with judges Mr. Haden and Mr. Kirchner. Don Ebersole won the ten minute prepared speech division and Gene Ulm won extemporaneous speaking. Both will participate in the District Foundation Awards meeting later this month.
The sophomore class plans its Valentine’s Dance February 15 after the game in the Girls’ Gym, ending by midnight. Admission is 75 cents for couples and 50 cents for singles. Chairs include Susie Schick Roberta Smith Judy Hitchcock Dwight Behrendt Becky Warner Carol Hudson and Gary Johnson. Proceeds fund the Prom.
