Wildwood Tightens Beach Alcohol Rules Boardwalk Ban Extended
Wildwood commissioners retooled an ordinance to ban consumption display or possession of alcohol on the beach and boardwalks, closing gray areas by covering all containers. Violators face fines up to 2000 dollars and possible jail time, with initial offenders likely warned. The measure, effective in early June, excludes boardwalk bars and permitted events.
