Protester rally opposes thin western highway route near Farmington Bay
Lori Kalt led a rally opposing a western corridor of a proposed highway considered by UDOT in the Environmental Impact Study phase. Activists fear noise, air pollution, and environmental harm to Farmington Bay while Sierra Club's Tim Wagner urged no road. A media advisory blamed Sen. Stuart Adams for the project, calling the highway “Adams Highway to Hell.” Adams denied direct influence, noting similar criticisms seen with Legacy Parkway.
