Debbie Christensen of Highland Utah became the latest spoofing victim after her phone number and name were stolen and used by a telemarketer. She received incessant angry calls from multiple counties starting January 29 and spent over 20 hours trying to stop them.
The Weber County Library system expanded tech upgrades begun at the Pleasant Valley Branch in 2007. New scanners, digital signage, and self check-in options expand access, improve inventory control, and reduce staff workload while preserving personal patron assistance. A new website is planned for April to improve navigation and user experience.
