O F Seth Funeral Held After Death In 1840s Swedish Community
O F Seth aged 43 died Friday morning September 20 after a long illness. Funeral services were held Sunday at the family home and Bethel Lutheran church with Rev. Haterius officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. He was born in Sweden November 13 1846 and came to this community in 1904. He is survived by wife Olga three sons a daughter a brother two sisters and many relatives from multiple cities. Kinney Funeral Home directed arrangements.

Two Churches Will Improve Buildings
St. John s Methodist Church will undergo exterior improvements with a roof repair contract awarded to Lydick Roofing Co of Abilene. The $2000 project includes reworking cathedral windows, replacing cracked panes, window bracing, repairs to other windows, concrete work on foundations drains steps gutters and down spouts refinishing woodwork and a 30 day completion.
