Harlan Indicted in Land Bank Case
P. Harlan of Lubbock former secretary treasurer of the Stamford National Finance Loan Association was indicted by a federal grand jury on three counts. The charges include embezzlement of 1117, fraud in drawing an 82.00 check, and a false entry in a second quarter report. Bond set at 25 000. He resigned and moved to Lubbock after a loan deficit emerged. He had been active in Stamford civic life.
