Stolen Model T Ford and missing cow alarm Township

A Model T Ford at the G. B. Lewis home was driven away in the early hours. Police recovered the car on a section road near the city pump station after daybreak, stripped of tires and lights. The Shamburger Lumber Company vehicle belonged to local manager Mr. Lewis. The family cow disappeared the same night but was found the next day, likely frightened by the theft.

W G Swenson was re elected head of the Texas Cowboy Reunion Inc at the annual stockholders meeting in the city council chamber. Watson Joins West Texas Chamber in Fort Worth Office

J C Watson resigns as Stamford Chamber of Commerce secretary to become assistant manager of the West Texas Chamber of Commerce and head of its Fort Worth office. He will serve as director of the Fort Worth unit and advertising manager of West Texas Today. Watson left Stamford Sunday and started duties Monday. his family remains there. Bomar Heights School Closed and Pupils Transferred
