Funeral Obituary for J. W. Thomas In Grandview

A parish census of all Catholics is being conducted in St. Kevins Stamford under William A. Gauger with eight workers. Former Kricksdahl resident grows cotton in New Jersey
Robert Nelson, formerly of Kricksdahl and now living in Irvington New Jersey, successfully grew Texas cotton to maturity last month. He planted a small patch to test whether cotton would thrive in New Jersey, with two dozen plants progressing as weather warmed. Local observers watched the crop bloom and bear fruit as cooler spells slowed growth. Nelson, a Mason’s assistant, recently enrolled in bricklaying school.
