Final documents were sent to the Federal Aviation Authority in Dallas and a work order to start upgrading Stamford Municipal Airport could begin within two weeks. City Manager Kerry Sweatt said the city council approved FAA and state grants totaling $77,000 and awarded Ernest Loyd Construction Co. the contract. Colt herp Construction Co. of Seymour will perform the actual work with a 10 day start window once FAA acknowledgment is received.

Council Plans Friday Session On Master Plan
