The Stamford Bulldogs host Tahoka in the bi district football game on Thanksgiving Day at 2 o’clock on the local gridiron. Reserve seats at Nat's Cafe go on sale Friday at 9 am. Pre booked reservations were cancelled and tickets are first come first serve. Reserved seats cost 1.50 for adults and 1.00 for students. Stamford owns a 14 0 record while Tahoka is 6 4 and both schools met to confirm arrangements.

Death of Mrs Cora Brown 85 In Stamford
Mrs. Cora Brown aged 85 died Saturday at 7 40 am in Stamford Sani tarium after a three week illness confined to a wheelchair for seven years. She was born November 7 1867 in Culloden Ga. and lived in Stamford since 1910 with a prior residence in Plano Wichita Falls and Electra. Funeral Sunday at 2 pm at St Joan's Methodist Church, burial in Highland Cemetery with Kinney and Son Funeral Home in charge. Her husband K T Brown died March 11 1935. Surviving children are Dudley Duncan and Mrs EF Tschabold of Stamford and a sister Mrs Geulah Baries of Macon Ga.

Prother of Two Stamford Residents Dies at Petrolia
