Suitcase Stolen From Car in Stamford After Stop
A suitcase with clothing and $375 in cash disappeared from a car in front of Smith-Coffee Hardware around 7 p m Saturday. P J McCulloch of Artesia New Mexico parked, went into Ma s Cafe, tied the bag with rope on the fender, and returned to find the rope cut and the case gone. Police were notified, but no trace had been found.

Funeral Service Held Wednesday for B. N. Wiseley
The funeral for B. N. Wiseley 44 superintendent of Swenson Oil and Gas was at Central Christian Church on Wednesday at 3 20 p m Rev Robert O Beaman officiated. Wiseley died in a Strawn car crash Tuesday with a fractured skull. Burial is planned in Robinson Illinois. Wiseley was born March 5 1889 in Findlay Ohio. He previously worked for Ohio Oil, moved to Illinois and Texas, and became Swenson Oil and Gas superintendent in October 1929. He was a Mason and led the Central Christian Church Sunday School.

Woman's Neck Broken In Automobile Fall Near Albany
Mrs. J. H. Reynolds Jr., 23, of Throckmorton, daughter of rancher Frank Rhoads, sustained a fractured neck when a car door swung open and she was flung onto the pavement on the Throckmorton Albany highway at 7 30 a m Wednesday. Her husband drove her to Albany for care and she was later moved to Stamford Sanatorium.

Misses Bland Injured In Stamford Car Crash
Miss Orie Lee Bland of Stamford is treated for a fractured knee and other injuries after a 1:45 p.m. collision on highway 30 when a stalled Ford coach was hit from behind by a T model. Her sister Miss Valentine Bland suffered a forehead blow and shock, with Tepple and Odell Locklin in the touring car uninjured. Both cars were badly damaged. The Bland sisters run a beauty shop in Stamford.
