Men Hold Convention And School For Implement Dealers
About 30 implement dealers from West Texas attended a demonstration and dealer school here Wednesday hosted by the John Deere Plow Company and Letz Manufacturing Company. Demonstrations took place at the Bryant-Link Company implement house on South Swen Son avenue, with a luncheon and school at the Stamford Inn. Walter G. Whitehead and B. L. Harris led the event, joined by Galen Meinney and A. V. McAdoo among Bryant-Link officials. Fourteen managers from Bryant-Link stores attended. Bryant-Link now receives implements in car lots here and distributes them to stores, making conferences easier than the former San Angelo gatherings.

The Stamford gin report shows 13 170 bales ginned this season with several thousand more expected as wet weather may affect remaining crop. Early Stamford Pioneer W N Reynolds Dies at 74
W N Reynolds, a pioneer Stamford resident born in Charlestown Flandis in 1859, died after a prolonged illness at the Coleman Hotel. He came to Texas over 88 years ago and helped found Stamford painting the first building. He is survived by two daughters and two grandchildren. Burial was at Highland cemetery.
