Rain Fills Stock Tanks in Old Glory Area
Last week brought welcome rains across the Old Glory region with 5 to 6 inches south of town and slightly less to the north and east. Tanks filled to capacity, easing drought concerns as farmers expect busy days ahead after fields dry. Local visits included the Knipe family of Lipan, the Garners of Abilene, and many others calling on area residents and attending church in Old Glory.
