Alva LeFevre 83rd birthday noted in Sagerton area

Sagerton news reports Alva LeFevre celebrated her 83rd birthday at home with family and friends. Attendees included Clark Terrell, Ladain Anderson, Neva McKerall, Reece Clark, Larry LeFevre, Susan LeFevre, Larressa LeFevre, Shane LeFevre, Henrietta Stegemoeller, Louise Stegemoeller, Clarence Stegemoeller, Delbert LeFevre, Jill LeFevre, Jana Manske and baby Jace, with ice cream and cake served. Continuous gatherings and visits from relatives across Rule and nearby towns were noted.

Old Glory eighth grade graduation and local events

Students earn degrees at Western Texas College ceremony

Sophie Jean Wilson, Joseph Ates and Roy L. Bounds of Stamford were among graduates receiving associate degrees in Western Texas College commencement exercises held May 21. Wilson earned the Associate in Arts with summa cum laude, GPA 3.95. Ates and Bounds earned the Associate in Applied Science. Ates majored in law enforcement and Bounds in mid management.
