Friday night the Braves scored eight runs on seven hits to defeat the Red Sox 8 4 and the Red Sox beat the Dodgers 3 1 on Tuesday night Ray Williams earned the win for the Red Sox. June 4 the Cards face the Red Sox at 6 pm and the Dodgers meet the Braves at 7 30 pm. Dodgers play the Cards June 8 at 6 pm and Red Sox face the Braves at 7 30 pm.

Rains Hinder Pee Wee League Schedule Pirates Beat Cubs 6-3
The Pirates defeated the Cubs 6-3 Thursday night in the lone Pee Wee game this week as rain wiped out the Jet-Astro game and postponed a later meeting. Pirates had nine hits led by Aceta Thane two hits each with Acosta and McNair driving in two runs. Cox earned his seventh win, McFarland took the loss, while Robby McFarland added one Cubs hit list. The Cubs were scheduled to face the Jets and Pirates vs Astros in Thursday night action.

Six Delinquent Tax Suits Dismissed by Judge
District Judge J. Neil Daniel last week dismissed six delinquent tax suits filed in 1969 in 104th District Court.
